The media, both traditional and social, have failed. They have become nothing but a sea of
ideological bubbles that are all but impossible to pierce. History tell us there will likely be a fragmentation of the market and new ways of communicating with those outside of your ideological sphere will be required.
So i've been building #Libertarian Counterpoint a new website.
The old wordpress blog posts wouldn't import properly because of plugins, so i still have to pay some youth $15/hr to tediously recreate history over time, but we are functional.
The goal is to create a website that is more useful to our viewers and us at the same time. Once properly configured it will centralize our show management and prep tools while creating more avenues for community engagement
the first value add is a potential show topic directory. As i prepare a show I don't know how many news articles i read or videos i watch but those that make a first cut get stored in a browser extension. I now store them on the website. Eventually we'll add letting trusted community members add to the list

I also use trello to keep track of show details and final topics, that will also now be done on our own website.

There is a lot of work to do, but it is mostly configuration. We are using an open source complete website package. tiki.org
It's running fine, so there are no glitches to fix so it is all configuration but i could use some help. The trackers give me a headache so i could really use help getting them set up over time.
